Having said that, I think, given my compulsion to have everything perfectly straight, maintaining a garden like this would be a full time job. I once worked in a gift shop and every spare minute was taken up making sure the greeting cards were in perfectly straight lines, nearly drove myself mad!
My most recent post is on the Italian gardens in our estate which I love.
AngexAngehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15023156810883464033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-491954087258246123.post-46196467805541409102009-11-30T09:41:49.534+10:302009-11-30T09:41:49.534+10:30Beautiful, beautiful gardens Mill's. Just last night, I was reading about the gardens at Sissinghurst Castle, created by Vita Sackville-West and Sir Harold Nicholson (apparently restoring this garden kept their marriage together in between her passionate affairs with other women). Many of the gardens were designed as outdoor rooms, apparently the White Garden alone, is magnificent. I think I might learn more and do a post about it. But, I'm wondering if their White Garden has your beloved lillies? I'll get back to you.
