Yes, the pillow from the quirky Esther Diamond says it all! Our very big weekend did achieve the trimming of the laurel hedge, and it was cold, exhausting work.

As the Man-of-the-House completed my request without too much whingeing, I cooked up his favourite curry, Beef Massaman. 4 hours later (which is why it doesn't appear on our menu at home very often!) it was done & as sweet potatoes & pumpkin were cheap as at the Market yesterday, I also did a yummy Thai Roasted Pumpkin & Sweet Potato Soup.

I was lucky to be given a fabulous set of Bison ceramic mixing bowls a few years ago & as I was using them today in my minor cooking frenzy, I got to thinking about my favourite pieces in the kitchen & those I'd love to acquire (big hint to MOTH & all the boys for Christmas!)

  1. Hi Millie - just wrote a comment but for some reason I don't think it worked - so apologies if I have doubled up! - I love bison bowls, so jealous! All my kitchen pieces are white which i sometimes think is so boring - but you can't go wrong with all white. Thanks for all the gorgeous white ceramic photos - i'd like one of each please!
Oh and curry and homemade dip? - think I need to head up the highway and track you down! he he. Have a great week x
