  1. Ha!! One of my favourite (mean) pastimes: laughing at other people's taste. Interior design taste is even more telling than clothes because it is much more permanent. This is of couse a house Fit for A Modern Day Renaissance Prince.

  2. Oh Lordy gawdy!!! Now I like my glamour but sheesh!
I was bit concerned initially, it didn't seem like a Millie post ....it took a good image or 2 to realise you were joking! Ha love it!

  3. I'm feeling all jittery after viewing that last image. The symmetry isn't quite there with a missing window on the right hand side.
I seem to remember seeing this home somewhere before...it's not easily forgotten:o)

  5. As my dear Mother-in-law frequently says... "It's a shame that people with money sometimes have so little taste. And the people with all the fabulous taste, sometimes have so little money to create with."

  6. Beautiful, but that place is WAY too big for me and my pups!!! :) LOL

  7. Interesting choices...money doesn't guarantee good taste. One of my favorite says 'If you can't be a good example, at least you can serve as a horrible warning'.

  9. Hi Millie,

It takes all sorts... in this world.
Probably a good thing we do not all have the same taste.

Hope that you are having a great week
    Hugs

  10. Well, that's certainly what you would call 'over the top' Mill's. !! Just a tad on the cluttered side. Each to their own I guess. Who am I to say that it's wrong ?.....I'm me, and I say it's wrong !!
Oh, and, by the way. I was thinking of telling MOTH about those wonderful pallet chairs over at Heidi Claire's blog. I thought that it would be a nice little project for him in the Autumn !!!! haha. XXXX

  12. I recall a line from a magazine to the effect, "Just because it is historical does not mean it is in good taste."
My gut tell me that this place qualifies.

  13. Ah, another gem from the Las Vegas School of Design. Did I see a white tiger poking it's head out from behind the palm fronds? I kept looking for the bowl by the front door for the swingers to put their car keys into. Meredy xo.

  14. Scrolling down today, I thought Millie can't like this, can she? Do I write and tell her I think it is too conceived for my taste!!! Then I realised you thought the same as me....too slow on the uptake, think I need to go and lie down.
    Take care

  17. If the devil didn't make you do it. He would certainly make you do it once you lived there!!!

  18. Wow, love your blog!!

I am speechless about this house. This to me screams "trying too hard". When I look at each room my eyes don't know where to look. It is just really "busy".
