Warning, Warning!

Just a quick post to let you know in advance that I'll be having a big rant & rave tomorrow about a certain 'European' kitchen appliance company who's product is dodgy. It's my blog, so I'll rant if I want to. You may want to look away while I get it off my chest & come back later in the week. I hope I've cooled down by then & it's all sweetness & light.

  1. You're not having a good trot at the moment are you! But I'll be reading...your rants are hugely entertaining!

  2. Go for it Millie! Get it all out in the open. I bet you'll be surprised at how many others have had similar experiences.

I'll name and shame 2 for definitive lack of service - Smeg and Gaggenau. They are happy to sell you the product, but cannot provide anyone to service products in my area if something happens. Therefore, have a non-functioning bench extractor fan and one hob of a four hob gas cooktop not functioning for over two years. Ridiculous.

  3. Sometimes these things just have to be done. Better out than in.

  4. Go for it Millie, I'm sure that it'll do you a lot of good.

Just noticed the WH Auden quote above your comment box, how clever of you to find such an appropriae line.

  6. Rant away, Mills! You can do it for all of us... My dishwasher just died a few days before the house settles.. so I'm feeling a bit fiesty and 'anti-appliances' anyway....

  10. I'm looking forward to the rant! Being European, I blame myself. But nonetheless, I'm looking forward.
