Welcome Back Miss Millie!

Something wonderful happened this arvo! I've spent the last 2 days resting & chilling out on MOTH's orders, but did wander out for a much-needed couple of hours at the hairdressers today. As I was walking back to the car I had an overwhelming feeling that the old Miss Millie was back inhabiting my body! After weeks of feeling & looking very unwell, today I've really started to feel like my old self & it can't come quickly enough.

I've been almost pain-free today, my latest blood tests are still showing a very nice downward trend & there's a decided lightness to my step - hooray! And to top it all off, my best friend gave me the biggest hug today & told me that he can see the old sparkle coming back (read as we had the biggest argie-bargie about this weekend's footy results!). So I'm sending you all the biggest & warmest of hugs, because without everyone's unwavering kindness, concern & support, this journey of the past few weeks would have been very different. Thank you from the bottom of my blogging heart!

Oh miss M - this is the best news I have heard all week! I'm so glad to hear you are feeling more like yourself. I only know too well the feeling of not feeling like yourself, but the best bit about that is what you are experiencing now - "yep, yep - this is familiar.... I like it..... I think its the old me!" xxx

Dear Millie,

What fabulous news, it has made my day to know that you are feeling a lot better :-)

Make sure that you do not over do it though, go slowly!Which as you know is very normal in France - especially the SW :-)

Millie - I'm so glad you are feeling better. Sometimes we are in such a hurry to be well that we forget to take care. A good haircut never hurts either.

Knowing your old YOU coming back lighten my heart, Lady Mill. So happy. I even told my hubby when we sat at the restaurant today about you feeling ill.

I feel how you feel when you were ill and now when you feel better. I been there recently. Having a complicated surgery isn't cool at all. Am not 100% Me, yet. I still have the pain but 100% better than 3 weeks ago.

So, now, although you feel good, still take a lil step at a time, pls? §:-)) or else I ask MOTH to give a spank *wink

Take care, dear Lady and have a blissful week-end.

xoxo

Such good news...music to my ears...Miss Millie's back!

Don't rush things too much - slow and easy wins the race. My mother was a nurse and she says most people stop doctoring themselves when they start to feel better and that's too soon. ♥Rosemary
