I've Got Storage!
.......well, I will have by the end of the day! The Installer is here putting in the built-in wardrobe in our bedroom this morning. The cardboard Porta robes we've been living out of since moving in 4 years ago are on their last legs, so today is a momumental occasion. Now off to have a huge clothes cull....... do I really still need that c.1989 size 10 glitzy red sequinned evening top with the mega-padded shoulders or is it time to be ruthless!

Vintage red sequins with extra padded shoulders should always remain...if only to remind you of 1989!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Sequins should always stay. Lucky you. I often think I would need to buy fewer clothes if only my existing ones were on better and clearer display. Xoxo
ReplyDeletenothing beats built ins for storage with all it's 'mod-cons'. I think you should pop the red sequin number on ebay...someone is sure to buy it!
ReplyDeleteOh, I say be rutheless! :) And congratulations..that's a long time to be living out of the cardboard ones! How very fun!
ReplyDeleteso much FUN! My thing is that if you haven't worn it in 5 years.... get rid of it! But if they designers ... then hold on to it! It will come back someday!

Nothing beats good storage... Seems like a good time to cull the wardrobe....
ReplyDeleteHard really - maybe go with the 5 year plan and then do it again next Spring. How exciting!!! Funny how the simple things in life bring us joy!! I remember sitting in front of my new washing machine after ages of going to the laundromat!!. Enjoy!! You sound like you r-e-a-l-l-y deserve it!!!
ReplyDeleteIf ever one of your gorgeous sons provides you with a grand daughter, she would love to have the red sequin number for dressing up! I say keep it

ReplyDeleteOh Mill's,
ReplyDeleteDon't get rid of the red sequins.... I've heard from reliable sources that they will be back for Christmas !!
You won't know yourself with all of that storage. Does MOTH get a corner of it ?!! Mr. Home wouldn't get a look-in !! haha XXXX
Never be ruthless with red sequins Millie.....you just never know........;) xv
