The printed word continues to fascinate me. On fabric it looks fabulous, the ideas are endless. It must be at least a decade since Carolyn Quartermaine's stunning creations appeared, and her work still creates inspirational images.

  1. Love all the French words!
You just reminded me I need a Eiffel Tower door stop from Ballards... I hope they still have them.
Keep daydreaming... some will come true!

  2. These cushions are lovely. Where do you find something like that here in Aus?

  3. Hello Millie! What a nice blog you have! Very lovely cushions!
    Have a nice day!
    Greetings from Italy!

  4. These remind me of the stunning printed grain sack chair covers a woman had made who was featured on Oprah. Did you see that episode with Nate? I fell immediately in love with them.

    Anna :)

  5. Very cute! I'm not a fan of things with a lot of letters, but these all look very elegant and classic.

  6. Hi Millie,

Thank you so much for stopping in at our site. You are correct, demo-renovation is exhausting. Kudos on your site. You have wonderful taste and the photos of Adelaide Hills are wonderful. I spent a few days around Adelaide a while back. It is one of my favourite spots in all of Oz. Claudia loves your link to NZ H&G. We will stop back through.

  7. I love it when people speak French to me!!!!

  8. oooooh...I love all the French words! Me likey!

  9. Oh Millie, you have the most beautiful blog. The time you must put into sourcing such gorgeous images! You are a style queen! A-M xx

  10. Again after a few days off, it is so lovely to look at your faulous collections of photos ... I love all of these, but especially the sail cushion ... going for chic nautical in the new house and this would be so so perfect!
