With 3 sons, 3 grandchildren & my work in a scientific business dominated by yes, more men, The Laurel Hedge was born out of my sheer desperation for something the boys just don't get & never will!
Brings a tear to my eye and I don't even pretend to have the friend of a cousin twice removed who knows them!! If that's you dancing with MOTH then you certainly mastered the cast ;-) Hope you sat back and savoured!! And MOTH let his hair down to the MUSIC! Roll on Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing the pictures...looks like the weather was perfect, too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the dancing small winged invertebrate! A-M xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect wedding. Love the use of wine barrels as tables.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Miss Millie,
ReplyDeleteThought I would do a quick "call in" this morning before I hit the ground running with what has to be done today!!! Great to see the wedding photo's. The bride looked stunning and what a beautiful setting for a wedding. I'm sure your son and new bride will have a long and happy life together.....I did wonder in the second last photo with MOTH dancing, was that you in the purple dress?????? Hope you have a wonderful day today and will "call in" again soon

Wow what a beautiful setting Millie, how beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing :)
Sweet Millie,
ReplyDeletei have an award for you on my blog.
Hope you do accept it.
Take care,
Rosa
Hi All - sadly that's not me dancing with MOTH, had to give him permission to dance with other women as the old cast doesn't have a dancing mode switch on it!!
ReplyDeleteOh & the groom isn't one of our sons. Believe me, if I ever get the opportunity to be the mother of the bridegroom, I'll be shouting it from the rooftops!
M ^_^
Looks wonderful. I see MOTH with that bottle in his hand and then out on the dance floor. It seems so funny to see all of you in light dresses and all that outdoor green. We've just had a bit more snow, the fire is lit and it's getting cold here! Great photos Millie- thank you for taking us along.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, Mill's, I can't get over the stunning setting and the beautiful weather. What a wonderful place for a wedding. It's cold in the U.K. at the moment and I'm so envious of the beautiful weather that you're having.
ReplyDeleteThe bride looks lovely and happy as does the groom.....and , although you know that I have a soft spot for MOTH, your predicament doesn't seem to have cramped his style one jot !!!!... I'm sure he looked after you though. So pleased that you had a wonderful time.
Here's to Kate and Damon, wishing them many happy times together. XXXX
What a stunning setting and a perfect sunny day! I hope you had a great time despite the hobbling/no dancing accessory!
ReplyDelete:)
What a lovely day, and a happy crowd. Its soooooo long since I've been to a wedding. I too would be singing and dancing from the rooftops if either of my two decided to tie their knots.
ReplyDeleteThe weather looked perfect! Looks like everyone had a great time Millie, even if you didn't get a chance to get up and bust a move on the dance floor!

Looks like a great day Millie. I'm sorry you couldn't master the dancing cast! MOTH looks a whiz on the dance floor!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful setting - and beautiful people - makes me smile. Looks a bit like Sonoma with the rolling hills and wine barrel tables. Candid photos are often the ones most treasured.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous wedding. Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. What? no pics of your cast??
ReplyDeleteMillie
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, what a wonderful wedding. You captured it perfectly....the essence of each moment. A beautiful bride, loving family and friends, a perfect sunny day in a stunning location and a mother of the bride who I am sure was beaming every moment of the way!
Jeanne :)
What a great looking wedding! Looks like it was actually fun, which sadly, you can't say for all of them...they look like a wonderful couple.
ReplyDeleteThe couple looks happy!!
ReplyDeleteThe setting put me green (as in grass) envy.
