Star Power

Very occasionally you'll see a room that is a spectacular, sparkling diamond amongst the lesser, duller zircons. A room that has star power. This is such a 'room'. To read more go here. You'll need to register online first, but it's really easy & you'll read the incredible story of the home this room is part of & its fascinating provenance. You'll also have access to the NYTimes amazing Home & Garden magazine archives. Can't think of a much better way to wile away a rainy Saturday 'arvo really.

  3. What an amazing ceiling height! I can see a wee aria being sung from that garret/staircase in the middle of the room. Not me singing of course, but someone who actually can sing. It just looks like that kind of room.
