Bouquets all Round!

I love working remotely from Head Office interstate - no inter-office politics, no micro-management from the boss & no attendance at the compulsory Friday drinks! However, there are moments when I miss the companionship of my colleagues (for only a split second mind you!), & I've had some good wins to celebrate this week. So firstly, a bouquet of these gorgeous roses to Moi, for closing sales on 2 large Accounts I've been working on since last year - high five's all round!!

And secondly, & most importantly, bouquets to all of you - for the wonderful, humorous, touching, encouraging, supportive & delightful comments left here @ The Hedge this week. This is why Blogging is so fantastic & so these roses are for everyone who visits, or even just lurks, enjoy them & the happiest of weekends to you!

  8. Millie,

Later when we crack open a bottle of very cold bubbly (on this horrible hot day) I will toast up to the sky in the direction of Adelaide to you Millie on your successful sale. Well done!

Also I think you should do more writing, you really are quite a wonderful writer.

    Cheers, xx Coty

  9. Well done! I've been reading your blog over the last 2 months and it's a delight. I have very fond memories of Stirling as we stayed at the gorgeous L'Orangerie B&B with David and Clare about 4 times whilst our son was training to become a commercial pilot at Parrafield.I shudder to think of all the divine gardens in Stirling in this appalling heatwave! Keep being yourself. It is lovely to see an Australian blog that does not come over as a pale reflection of the American dream! Gorgeous photos!

  10. Jill - thanks for your lovely comments. Clare & David are our neighbours in the next street & yes, L'Orangerie is just divine. Did you know that that sadly they've closed down? They are now spending half their time up in Qld. at their beach house in semi-retirement.

Clare has the most amazing style & she did my wedding flowers for me -the only time I cried on the day was when she arrived with my bouquet! If you are a regular reader, you'll understand that I spent the rest of the day laughing at MOTH's misshaps - now's there's a weeks worth of posts!

  24. Hi Millie, David and Clare were heading to Noosa (!!) when I spoke to them last. I'm selfishly hoping they won't like it too much!By the way have you done a piece on Ruth Irving's darden at One Tree Hill, it's gorgeous and also has a lovely and very private B&B with Mr Darcy-esque views, although the surrounding "restaurants" aren't brilliant. Also I wonder what has happened to Michael and David now after they sold Thorn Park. Clare Valley riesling, especially Killakanoon is our favourite. Thanks again Millie am so grateful for your blog!
